Screw the ratings! I’m watching week two of The Sing-Off tonight. Are you? It annoys me that a show full of FABULOUS SINGING and FANTASTIC JUDGING  isn’t attracting more eyeballs. Sigh. Tonight, 8 more groups

A slew of Sing-Off hopefuls get together for an impromptu jam of the 1960 classic “This Magic Moment” by Ben E. King and The Drifters. Jay and the Americans had a hit with it in 1969.

New videos from NBC and The Sing-Off feature Sing-Off alums, The Backbeats and other performers singing a-capella versions of the theme songs from a few beloved classic sitcoms including, Seinfeld, Sex and the City, The Golden Girls, and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

Ah. PURE SINGING. Hooray. The first extended preview of the 3rd season of the Sing-Off has just been released, and if you watch, it will make you so so so excited for the new season!

As if fantastic a capella singing was not enough to make The Sing-Off one of the awesomest competition reality shows of the last couple of years, it also boasts one of the most charming and knowledgeable hosts in fabulous singer/songwriter Ben Folds.

Ben has posted a brand new song called “House” on his Sing-Off page at the NBC website. Billed as the “first Ben Folds Five Song” in 10 years.

NBC’s The Sing-Off has announced the 16 groups that will compete in its third season.

Hosted by Nick Lachey, the series will premiere on Sept. 19 with returning judges Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman. Singer/songwriter, Sara Bareilles joins the panel to replace Nicole Scherzinger who is now a judge on Fox’s The X Factor.
