Tonight, the contestants of The Glee Project, with the help of Glee co-star, Dot-marie Jones (Coach Bieste) explore their “vulnerability”.

Despite finding the teaser video for tonight’s episode of The Glee Project a tad heavy-handed, I think tonight’s episode of “The Glee Project” was the best yet. The cast is asked to dig into their deepest, darkest vulnerabilities and they do–at times with heartbreaking results. Finally, I’m becoming invested in this show, because for the first time, I feel like I’m really getting to know the cast. If you haven’t watched this show yet, I highly recommend it.

Erm…I don’t think this clip from the upcoming The Glee Project is supposed to be funny but I’m laughing anyway.

The remaining contestants head out to a shopping mall wearing signs that reveal something they are ashamed of or feel uncomfortable about–similar to the “Born This Way” number from Glee–and are forced to walk around glumly lip syncing to “Mad World” as passersby pretend to stare at them.

The Glee Project Music Video – Firework (Premieres June 12)

The Glee Project, premiering on Oxygen, Sunday June 12 at 9 pm ET/PT will find and train a group of “extraordinarily talented performers” who will compete against one another to win a multi-episode guest starring role on Glee.

After the jump, watch the 12 contenders in their very first music video performing Katy Perry’s “Firework”. Also, for your viewing pleasure, a video featuring Darren Criss discussing his involvement in The Glee Project.
