The Voice hit a series low last night. Whoops. The Bachelorette premiere is down in double digits compared to last year’s debut after Dancing with the Stars.
The Voice dropped versus last week’s results show, for its lowest rated Tuesday of the season. Dancing with the Stars finale was its lowest rated in the show’s history. So You Think You Can Dance stayed even with last week.
The Celebrity Apprentice finale was up 15% from last week, but down 32% from last year. The Billboard Music Awards, on the other hand, was up 33% from last year.
Truly horrible American Idol ratings are HORRIBLE. The numbers for last night’s finale are down SHARPLY from last year. Not only that, Big Bang Theory, kicked their asses. And for the first time, the big reveal did not hit the 20 million mark.
The American Idol season 11 final earned a preliminary rating of 4.2 last year, which was an all time low for a performance final at that time. Now compare that to Season 12’s 2.9 rating, and we’ve descended into the sub-sub basement of ratings hell. S11 averaged 14m viewers, s12 nearly 12m.
The Voice dropped, DWTS rose a bit and the premiere of So You Think You Can Dance versus last year. The Voice clip show at 8 pm BEAT SYTYCD. That makes me really sad.
