Carrie Underwood will miss Oklahoma Hall of Fame induction Thursday after being injured in a fall – Country music superstar Carrie Underwood will not be inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Thursday night because she is still recovering from injuries suffered in a fall last weekend. According to a media advisory, the Checotah native will be unable to attend the 2017 induction ceremony Nov. 16, which is Oklahoma Statehood Day, at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City. – Read more at NewsOK

The 32-year-old singer and actor documented the making of his visual album Straight Outta Oz in Behind the Curtain: Todrick Hall. The documentary, directed by Katherine Fairfax Wright (Call Me Kuchu) offers a look into his hectic schedule and most important relationships, like his mom. Ahead its release, Hall will be hosting a special preview screening and conversation at New York’s IFC Center on Dec. 6. DA: When “American Idol” happened and with the entertainment industry, … sometimes you’re around a lot of people who don’t think the same way as you, who don’t believe the same things as you and maybe they don’t even care about whether there’s a God or not. … For them, in general, making money, making profit, having recognition for your accomplishments and having power are what success is, and I got kind of caught up in that. … I went on my mission, and suddenly there was no attention. I wasn’t focused at all about making money, wasn’t focused at all on how many more viewers and likes I was getting.
