Carrie Underwood Sings With Her Childhood Hero Bryan White – Carrie Underwood marked another milestone in her career on Tuesday (August 13), fulfilling a dream stretching back to her childhood. During her Opry set, she invited ’90s country star Bryan White to perform with her. Both artists grew up in Oklahoma, and White served as a musical role model for Underwood — who revealed that she was once a member of the Bryan White Fan Club, according to CMT. iHeartRadio reports the two sang “I’m Not Supposed to Love You Anymore.”

Jennifer Hudson Hosts ‘Hatch Day’ To Bring School Supplies To Kids In Need – Grammy winner Jennifer Hudson and her sister, activist Julia Hudson, hosted their ninth annual Hatch Day at Bellevue Ministry Center at 107th and Halsted in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood Wednesday morning. They gave away full backpacks to thousands of students to help get ready for school. ‘Woodsock’ Charity Concert to Benefit Homeless, Feature ‘American Idol’ Contestant – While Woodstock 50 never made it off the ground, the organization Knock Knock Give a Sock — which provides socks to homeless people — will host a mini-music fest and fundraiser aptly called “Woodsock” on September 15th at Zanger Hall in New York City. The event will feature performances from musicians who are living in homes or homeless shelters, or have previously experienced homelessness.
