Carrie Underwood Sings Lennon for 4 Living Presidents At Points of Light Gala

<<attends the Points of Light Institute Tribute to Former President George H.W. Bush>> at The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts on March 21, 2011 in Washington, DC.

Carrie Underwood performed John Lennon’s “Instant Karma” at the Points of Light Gala, honoring George H. W. Bush tonight at the Kennedy Center  in Washington DC.

Three presidents were in attendance to honor Bush Sr. at the podium. It was the first time all four living presidents were together in one place since President Obama’s inauguration in 2009.

Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Brad Paisley, and Kid Rock also performed.

The gala, will air on NBC on March 28. Awesome, because I really want to hear the full version of Carrie’s “Instant Karma” cover!

After the jump, check out a FOX news report that contains a snip of her performance, and a gallery of photos.  More photos from Faded Youth Blog.
