Carrie Underwood played the Grand Ole Opry last night, and as a special surprise, during her first show she introduced the newest Idol graduates, Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery and runner up Lauren Alaina to the Opry crowd.
How exciting it must have been for them to step into the circle for the very first time! Scotty and Lauren will be back Friday night to perform on stage.
Carrie’s set list (1st show): “Cowboy Casanova”, “Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On” (cover of Opry legend Mel McDaniels song. He’s from Checotah and passed away in April so this was a tribute performance), Introduces Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, welcomes them to Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry, “Jesus Take The Wheel”/”How Great Thou Art”
Carrie’s set list (2nd show): “Before He Cheats”, “Temporary Home”, “All American Girl”
