Carrie Underwood trended on Twitter last night after performing songs from her new album of gospel hymns, My Savior at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards.

Introduced by the legendary Dolly Parton, the American Idol season 4 winner performed a medley from her new album of gospel hymns, starting with “Amazing Grace” and featuring a duet with CeCe Winans to sing “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” and “The Old Rugged Cross.” To finish the set, they were joined by the Belmont University Choir for “How Great Thou Art.” The performance took place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
