Carrie Underwood Celebrates The Nashville Predators (VIDEO & PHOTOS)

After the Pittsburgh Penguins won two NHL Stanley Cup Playoff games at home, the Nashville Predators evened the score in front of enthusiastic crowds at Bridgestone arena this week.

And no fan is as enthusiastic as Predators captain Mike Fisher’s wife, country star Carrie Underwood! The series currently stands at 2-2. Next the teams face off in the Penguins home turf, PPG Arena in Pittsburgh. One thing is for sure–there will be a 6th game in “Smashville.” And it takes place right in the middle of one of Nashville’s biggest events–the CMA Music Festival. It’s gonna get crazy up in here.

Last night (June 5) during Game 4 intermission, Carrie chatted with NBC sports. A bit of news: Carrie will return to sing the NBC Sunday Night Football theme!

Carrie confessed that she didn’t get her husband anything for his 37th birthday–which was yesterday. “I didn’t get him anything,” Carrie said. “I’m terrible.”

Carrie said that she’s not anxious at all when she performs, but watching her husband play? That’s a different story. “I’m way more nervous than I ever would be for myself,” she said.

Carrie may be putting off getting Mike a Birthday gift, but she did leave him a sweet message on her Instagram account. “Happy birthday to this handsome hunk!,” Carrie wrote, “I’ll never forget the day he told me he was asked to wear the “C.” I was so proud on that day and I’m even more proud now to see him play in the #StanleyCupFinals. He’s definitely the only FISH in the “C” for me!”

And there was a chorus of Happy Birthday led by Carrie

In other news Carrie met HOCKEY LEGEND Wayne Gretzky last night! “And then this happened…” Carrie tweeted.

And Carrie with Mike’s VERY TALL family

TONIGHT (June 6) Carrie Underwood performs at the Grand ole Opry to help kick off the 2017 CMA Festival.
