Carly gets to show off her impressive pipes on this epic tune.

The band, made up of ex-members of Evanescence, will be hitting the road beginning with their debut show in London, UK on March 23.

The  group will then return to the US to begin a tour in Philadelphia on the 26th, , opening for the Finnish band, HIM.  For more info, check out

The band’s label, Universal, is promoting the song to rock radio, and considering how tough it is to get females on rock radio these days, I hope they push it hard.

UPDATE: If you sign up for the band’s email list, you can down load an acoustic version of “Bury Me Alive” HERE.

  3. I downloaded it last night right after I saw Carly’s tweet. I LOVE it and cannot wait for the album. I’m excited to see We Are The Fallen open for H.I.M. at LA’s Wiltern Theater in April. Carly & Brooke were my first choices until David Cook did “Hello” and then he joined them (I always loved David’s voice but Hello put him up there for me). The next week David became my sole pick with Eleanor Rigby and I never looked back… but until she was voted off, Carly was always my 2nd choice and I always felt if she could just find a musical direction and point of view she would be the 2nd best out of the season. How smart was she to wait until the right opportunity came along and join a new band with established artists… now she has a sound, a band name (with no Idol stigma in the alt-rock or other music worlds), and a clear direction. They may never be superstars, but I get the feeling this band is going to do well and they’ll earn a good living doing what they love. Reaching the level of success of both Davids is highly unlikely, but she and Jason Castro stand a very good chance of really making it. Go Carly!! Go AI season 7!!!

  4. I bought it but don’t see how it is going to be a “radio edit”, as I’ve heard, at nearly five minutes in length. Carly’s awesome and I’m waiting to buy a real CD now, no more digital downloads.
