Camila Cabello Debut Album Cover Art, Two New Songs (AUDIO)

Last spring Camila Cabello announced her debut solo album would be called The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. But since then, the former Fifth Harmony member has changed her mind. Last month she decided to ditch the title, no longer feeling that it represented the music she was making.

Now, finally, there is a new title and release date. The singer is opting for the one name/self-title Camila. It’s available for pre-order now and will be available everywhere January 12.

Camila revealed the cover art and a bit of her thinking behind the title change in an Instagram post:

“I can’t wait for you to hear what has been the soundtrack to the past year of my life,” Camila wrote, “All of these songs have special memories behind them, and I’m not gonna lie, it feels emotional letting them go, feels like the end of a chapter… I decided to call it by my name, because this is where this chapter in my life ended. It started with somebody else’s story, it ended with me finding my way back to myself.”

Additionally, Camila has dropped two new songs from the album. Check out the acoustic ballad, “Real Friends.”

Nextm it’s the chill, electronic “Never Be The Same.”

Camila, along with Joe Jonas and Sugarland are are set to perform live in Times Square on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018 on ABC.
