As for the rest of the show, one audience member told us, “I figured he’d be wobbly and sitting on a stool. But he was energetic, running around the stage with his guitar. It was like when I saw Poison years ago. It was a awesome show.”
FOX executives at the upfronts last week, told the press they would spend the summer looking for Simon’s replacement, possibly pushing back the auditions to fall to accommodate the new judge.
Maybe the rumor that has Idol using a revolving roster of guest judges in Simon’s place is true, and Brett is one of many Fox has asked to fill in…
Or perhaps Bret needs to spend more time recovering from his recent brain injuries…
