In the middle of Luke Bryan’s 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards show opener, “Hunting, Fishing, Loving Everyday,” the singer introduced his co-host Dierks Bentley on to the stage. But instead, of Dierks joining him to finish the song, it was last year’s co-host, Blake Shelton, who came strolling out on stage.
After Luke exited, The Voice coach took over the mic to perform his new single, the weepy, “Came Here To Forget,” about two shafted lonely hearts who meet in a bar and proceed to embark on a rebound romance. Does that sound familiar?
