Big Brother 15 – The Finale Live Blog and Results

Who will win Big Brother? Andy, Spencer or Gina Marie? I’m live blogging Big Brother right here!

But first, we learn the results of the 3 part Head of Household competition. Spencer was the first one out in Part 1, an endurance competition. Andy admits that Gina Marie is an endurance beast.

The competition has the HGs circling a dance floor, in roller skates while holding on to a trapezey looking thing that swings them around the floor. They face rain, suds, sudden changes in direction. Andy finally slips and Gina Marie gets a glitter parade after she wins. She goes directly to part 3.

HoH part 2: Andy and Spencer face off in a Little Mermaid themed competition. They have to search through sand to find “crabby” photos of the houseguests, climb a rock wall to put them up on a board in order of elimination, and then ring a bell. The HG starts over if there’s a mistake. The hard thing about this contest, is looking through the sand and dud photos. Andy’s last “crab” is Candice’s (Wait…I thought she HAD crabs? /badjoke). He finally finds it. Rings the bell…and he mixed up Aaryn and Helen.

The hard part for Spencer is climbing a wall to set his crab photos. Once he remembers the money, HE FINDS THE STRENGTH TO CLIMB THE WALL. He flies through the back half of the race. He dings his bell.

Andy finished in 21:54. Spencer finished in 36:11. ANDY WINS. Now, it’s Spencer’s job to convince his fellow houseguests that they need to take him to the finals.  In the meant time, Andy promises Gina Marie that he’ll take her to the finals. Sure he will. Gina Marie confesses in the diary room that she’ll take Andy to the final. She thinks he deserves it. But she’s unsure. She cries, afraid that she’d lose against him because the jury likes him better.

Really, either should bring Spencer to the Final 2. Spencer is such a tool. Who would vote for him?

Next, former BB winner, Dr. Will is sitting with the jury, when they find out that McCrae was eliminated. He joins the group. They admit that, even after moving out of the BB house, the HGs still basically hate each other. Hurt feelings linger. Candice says point blank, to her face,  that she doesn’t like Amanda.  However, she and Aaryn have become good friends. OOOOKAAYYY. The group agrees that Gina Marie made the biggest move of the summer–getting Amanda out of the house. Amanda doesn’t think it was much of a move, because she didn’t find her courage until she joined the exterminators. Candice will not vote for Gina Marie. Elissa is still pissed at Andy for framing her Amanda’s eviction. They rest admit he’s a backstabber, but aren’t taking it personally. McCrae says Andy played a tactful game. He also admits he would not have taken Amanda to the final 2. They kept Spencer around, because they all felt they could beat him. Not getting blood on your hands is a strategy, says Dr. Will. Elissa has not decided on who’ll she’ll vote for. Dr. Will advises that everyone make their own decision.

It’s time to crown the final HoH of the summer! Gina Marie and Andy go head to head in a trivia contest. They will be presented a statement from a HG, and will have to guess from two possibilities how they answered the question. Andy pulls ahead of GM after the 3rd question. Andy earns another point! It’s 2 to 4. Gina Marie gets a point. It’s 3 to 4. It’s the last question. Andy is ahead by one point. They both answer the last question correctly. But Andy wins by a point.

Andy wins Head of Household. He chooses who to take into the final 2.

Next Andy chooses who to take into the Final 2. Andy tells Spencer he’s one of his best friends in the house, but he’s taking Gina Marie to the Final 2.  High fives all around.  The two are so nonchalant: Andy and Gina Marie yammer about the HoH questions in the aftermath. Weird?

Andy and Gina Marie are headed to the Final 2. Spencer is eliminated.

Spencer tells Julie that he had a feeling Andy wouldn’t choose him, although he promised him at one point. Andy was always more loyal to Gina Marie, and had been avoiding him in the past few days. He’s proud that as a constant pawn, he didn’t leave early.

The jury enters the room, Candice, Jesse, Helen, Aaryn, Amanda, Elissa, Judd, and McCrae. Spencer joins them to make the 9 member jury complete. The group will question the final 2 before they vote.

Amanda asks GM what her biggest game move is, other than getting her out. She balks at the idea that the exterminators were behind her big move. Elissa asks Andy what HIS biggest game move was. Aligning with McCrae and Amanda, he says. Nobody knew what a threat he was as he played both sides of the house. Helen want to know that the biggest obstacle Gina Marie had to overcome. Of course, she thought it was Nick leaving the game. McCrae wants to know why they should vote for Andy’s backstabbing ass. He promises he would not have been a bitter jury member, like he said. That was just part of the game. He promises that he loves them all so much. Candice wants to know why they should vote for HER offensive ass. She acted mean after Nick left because she was so shocked. She plays with her heart. Jesse asks Andy why he lied so much, even when he didn’t have to. He says he was scared. Again, he loves everyone. He felt like he had to keep people in the dark to cover his ass and keep people from talking. Spencer asks Andy why he should give him half a million dollars. BITTER. He promised Gina Marie on NIGHT ONE that he would be loyal to her. And he was. That was his thread of loyalty that everyone believes he lacks.

Before the jury casts their votes, Gina Marie and Andy state their case. Gina says she played loyal from day 1. I’M ME I’M GINA MARIE. She keeps saying that. She apologizes if she offended. She offers a “parting gift” if they vote for her. Andy played with his heart and mind. But more with his mind. He insists he was a great player with great moves and that’s why he should win. He takes credit for the exterminators.

It’s time for the jury to vote!

Candice – Voting for the person she respects – ANDY
Jesse – The person who played the most consistent game – ANDY
Helen – Voting for the person who played the game she wished she played – ANDY
Aaryn – For the person who was alwyas there for her. – GINA MARIE
Amanda – ANDY
Elissa – Voting for the person who played a flawless game – ANDY
Judd – May the best exterminator win. – GINA MARIE
McCrae – Whoever wins is buying drinks! – ANDY
Spencer – Voting For the best player. – ANDY

The rest of the Houseguest join the party. They’ve been out in the world since their eliminations. Julie is ready to reveal Amanda who the MVP was that put her up. Amanda guesses it was America! Amanda didn’t’ realize how disliked she was until she walked out onto the stage after her eviction. Howard was surprised by how America took the show. He couldn’t even watch the live feeds. The racial stuff infuriated him. He hopes people mature from this. The camera keeps cutting to Aaryn. Julie reveals that the HG’s horrible comments made headlines. Spencer asks if he said anything. OMG SPENCER. CLUELESS. Jeremy accuses Helen of using the “mom thing.” Helen says her tears were real. Helen says Jeremy evoked real emotion out of her.

There was a 500% increase in fan votes this year, according to Julie.

After the break, Julie reveals the vote (see above) and before she reveals Candice’s and Jessie’s votes, Andy gets the 5 votes required. He wins Big Brother. It’s hugs all around. Glitter in the house! They join the rest of the houseguests. More hugs. Gina Marie reunites, finally with Nick.

After the break,  Gina Marie snuggles with Nick. I’ll laugh my ass off if he immediately dumps her. It turns out Andy won in a LANDSLIDE, as Julie reveals that only Aaryn and Judd voted for Gina Marie.

Next Julie announce who won the fan voted  America’s Favorite Houseguest. Judd, Elissa and Howard were the Top 3. But no surprise: Elissa came in first, winning $25,000. Julie thanks the houseguests and we’re out.

ANDY WINS BIG BROTHER and the HALF A MILLION DOLLARS. GINA MARIE IS SECOND AND WINS 50K

AMERICA’S FAVORITE HOUSEGUEST IS ELISSA. She wins $25,000.
