Chicago based band, 7th Heaven announced that American Idol season 4 alum, Anthony Fedorov is joining the group as lead singer, beginning in February 2013. A new CD will be released in Spring 2013.
Check out this video introducing Anthony featuring clips of Anthony on Idol and performing in concert and on stage. In the past few years, Anthony has been a part of several stage productions, including The Fantastiks, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Rent.
Clips performing with 7th Heaven begin at around the 7:12 mark. The music is adult contemporary pop. Anthony’s big vocals seem to be a good fit. The band was formed in 1985, and has had several changing band members in the years that followed.
Another American Idol alum, Siobhan Magnus also recently joined a band—a 90’s super group featuring ex-members of Third Eye Blind and Everclear.
