American Idol 12 3rd place finisher, Angie Miller, has released her new single, the self-penned tune “You Set Me Free.”
The song was her defining Idol moment when she wowed the judges and the crowd during her piano-driven performance during the Hollywood Rounds.
Angie is travelling down the Amy Lee road here. It’s very Evanescence, and the sound reminds me of another American Idol alum–Carly Smithson. The American Idol 7 alum is the lead singer in We Are the Fallen, a band made up of ex-Evanescence members.
