Heads up: Both the FOX and NBC television networks have chosen to air repeats this week. Wednesday is the July 4th holiday here in the US, a time when many folks are on vacation, throwing parties, spending time with family etcetera. There’s no point in airing new shows if it brings the ratings average down.

Monday night’s (July 2) So You Think You Can Dance aired a repeat of the premiere. Tonight’s America’s Got Talent (July 3) was originally scheduled as a “Best Of” clip show, but instead the network will re-air the premiere. World of Dance will also air its premiere at 10 pm. And as far The Four is concerned, the folks at FOX have decided to re-air last the most recent episode, Week 4, on Thursday (July 5).

If you need a reality star fix, July 4th is your day. The PBS Capitol 4th special will feature American Idol season 10 runner up Lauren Alaina, The Voice season 14 finalist Kyla Jade and The Sing-Off stars, Pentatonix. American Idol OG winner and The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson is set to perform on Macy’s 4th of July Spectacular over on NBC. And Jax and Johnny Brenns from American Idol will perform on a White House special airing on Hallmark.
