FIVE acts will be leaving the competition this week in the second and final week of Semi Final performances. Next week it’s the FINALE. The Top 10 will compete for the crown.
Best acts for me tonight? It was a rather underwhelming night of performances, but if I had to pick: Glennis Grace chose the right song, and delivered a technically perfect performance. The likeable Brian King Joseph stepped up with an energetic performance. He’s got tons of stage presence! Noah Guthrie took a big risk this week flipping the classic “I Will Always Love You.” It was interesting, if not entirely successful. And that’s all I’ve got.
Which acts will advance: Brian King Joseph, Glennis Grace, super-pimped fan favorite Courtney Hadwin will all advance. The Angel City Chorale might get through on 9/11 sentimentalism. Vicki Barbolak, Noah Guthrie, Aaron Crowe, We Three have a shot. The rest? BUH BYE.
