Do you miss The Voice already? Tonight,NBC aired a competition reality fix of sorts, airing the America’s Got Talent Holiday Spectacular. The 2 hour special featured AGT favorites Grace VanderWaal, Jackie Evancho, The Clairvoyants, Mat Franco, Piff the Magic Dragon, Olate Dogs, The Regurgitator, Professor Splash and more of the variety acts fans have come to love.
American Idol 14 season 14 alum, Sal Valentinetti also made an appearance. The New York native was booted from Idol during the Hollywood Rounds in 2015. But on the latest season of AGT, he advanced to the final, leaving in fifth place.
Such an impressive finish deserves a solo! Or maybe a duet with Heidi Klum, the judge who chose Sal as her Golden Buzzer pick during the auditions. The duo joined forces for a light hearted performance of “Santa Baby.” Look! There is Heidi descending onto stage atop a giant candy cane!
And who knew Heidi could sing. Well. She actually can’t. But since she served as eye candy and comic relief, it’s all good. Fellow judges Simon Cowell, Mel B. and Howie Mandel were greatly amused.
