French-Canadian violinist and singer-songwriter Gabriella Laberge performed James Blunt’s “Goodbye My Lover,” airing on the last week of America’s Got Talent auditions.

When Gabriella took the stage with her violin, the judges, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara seemed surprised when, after a sweet violin introduction, she began to sing. She also performs a short solo in the middle of the songs. The performance is lovely and delicate.

Gabriella went viral in 2016 after performing Coldplay’s “The Scientist” for her Blind Audition on The Voice France. A member of Team Mika, she was eliminated in the Quarterfinals. (Watch her The Voice France Blind Audition HERE).

Also on this week’s episode, the judges will deliberate over which acts move on to the live shows. America’s Got Talent will take a two week break while NBC airs the Tokyo Olympics. The live shows, with live audiences, kick off on Tuesday August 10. The live results begin on Wednesday August 11.
