A week after their premieres, America’s Got Talent and Songland ratings both fall 1/10th of a point in the key 18-49 demo compared to last week. AGT fell from a 1.7 to a 1.6 and Songland from a 1.1 to a 1.0.
Notably, Songland ratings were adjusted downward by 1/10s of a point in last week’s final ratings update, from a 1.2 to 1.1. Songland’s 10:01 start time means downward ratings adjustments in the final update could happen more often than not. That’s because the fast preliminary ratings count the entire hour–including the first minute of the 10 pm hour that actually belongs to the higher rated AGT.
