NBC aired the America’s Got Talent 2017 Quarterfinals part 2 episode tonight (August 30) and you know what that means. It’s time to VOTE IN THE POLLS. Which act is your favorite? Which five acts do you think are going home?
America’s Got Talent 2017 Quarterfinal 3 Recap and VIDEOS
Tonight’s show lacked the chaos that marked last week’s episode. Imagine if something had gone wrong with Diavolo’s giant gyroscope. Things could have gotten ugly. In anycase, the Quarterfinal ended with a ton more singers. The ones who have the best chance of getting through: Kechi and Chase Goehring. Mike Yung and Angelina Greene could wind up competing for the Dunkin’ Save. However, Final Draft has seen their final performance, methinks. Ditto the forgettable dance duo, Junior and Emily Alabi.
Colin Cloud, the Sherlock Holmes guy, kind of blew it this time with a meandering bit that had an underwhelming payoff. I don’t think Oskar and Gaspar’s “Human Projection Act” translated all that well on television. Even with Simon pimping him, twerking linebacker, Oscar Hernandez is going home. Sara and Hero? I don’t get it, but Simon’s pimping will probably get them the Dunkin Save, at least, as will Greater Works, the gospel choir that opened the show. The judges loved Diavolo, and they performed near the end of the show, but they could be a surprise boot.
I know–I haven’t made a firm prediction this week. I can’t decide. Be braver than me! Vote in our polls below.
