American Idol’s Jessica Meuse Signs Management and Album Deal

Congratulations to American Idol season 13 alum Jessica Meuse. The rootsy country singer has signed a new management and album deal. Looking forward to new music from this talented musician. She was definitely one of my favorites during her season.

Recently, Jessica moved to Houston Texas where she is checking out the music scene and working for the Lone Survivor Foundation.

Jessica made the exciting announcement on her Facebook where she posted: “The news is out and I couldn’t be happier or possibly feel more blessed. Thank you – from the bottom of my heart – to everyone who supports my music and my message, to my team, to my friends and family, each and every fan, and even for every single “NO” that led to the one “YES” that got me here. I absolutely cannot wait to get brand new music out to y’all! Much love…this is just the beginning!”

American Idol alum Jessica Meuse has signed a deal with L.A. Entertainment, Inc.’s management division, LA Group Management, and the Season 13, Top 4 finalist is also starting pre-production to record her debut album for release on Warrior Records/eOne.

Hailing from Slapout, AL, Jessica has been a natural performer, wowing audiences since the age of 10. At 20, she won the state-wide artist showcase, Stars of Alabama, and in 2013 was part of the Vans Warped Tour. Meuse’s tenure on American Idol led to her becoming the first person in the history of the hit series to perform her own composition, “Blue-eyed Lie,” during the finals. “Jessica pulled together a powerful performance of her original song,” commented Ryan Seacrest.

Following the show, Meuse joined the American Idols LIVE! Tour, performing in 40+ cities around the United States and Canada. Never one to stop writing, she penned and released two singles, “Done,” and “Rio Grande,” while continuing to expand her dedicated following (a large group of fans who have affectionately self-dubbed themselves the “Muse Mafia”).

“I am beyond excited to begin working on this next chapter of my career with LA Entertainment/Warrior,” noted Meuse. “I already have many new original songs written and I believe our team will make some of the best sounding Jessica Meuse music yet. The direction for my album will lean country, loaded with soul, truth, and a twist of my alt-rock influence. I’m ready for this next level of my musical journey and am happy to have a great group of people supporting me along the way!”

“My staff and I are thrilled to be working with Jessica on her upcoming release,” said manager, Jimmy Ervin. “She’s a natural who has a knack for connecting with audiences and we’re looking forward to great things from her going forward.”
