American Idol’s Carrie Underwood to Release a Lifestyle Book

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood will release her first book via Dey Street Books, an imprint of the William Morrow Group at HarperCollins Publishers. Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life, from the American Idol season 4 winner and country star. The book will be published in 2020.

As the founder and lead designer of the popular lifestyle and fitness brand CALIA by Carrie Underwood, she believes that fitness is a lifelong journey, and it’s not about perfection. Her Fit52 program, which she shares with readers in this book, is a sustainable, common-sense approach to staying active, eating well, and looking as beautiful as you feel—52 weeks a year.

Throughout Find Your Path, Carrie opens up about her personal journey towards optimal health, from her passion for sports as a kid, to the pressure to look perfect and fit the mold as she launched her career after winning American Idol, to eventually discovering the importance of balance and the meaning of true health.

For Carrie, being fit isn’t about crash diets or a workout routine that you’re going to dread. It’s about healthy choices and simple meals that you can put together from the ingredients in your local grocery store, and making the time, every day, to move, to love your body, and to be the best version of yourself.

“What I love about Carrie’s approach to fitness is that it is so simple and practical—it’s about balance. And Carrie herself is so grounded. Following her advice in this book is the next best thing to working out with a best friend,” said Dey Street Books Senior Editor, Jessica Sindler.

“Fitness and healthy living have been a passion of mine for years,” says Carrie. “It took time to find my way and navigate my wellness journey, and this book will provide tips and tools to help the reader find what is practical and sustainable in his or her everyday life for all 52 weeks of the year, and help lead them toward a positive lifestyle.”

This  November, Carrie will host the CMA Awards for the 12th consecutive year and has just been nominated for three CMA Awards, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.  She’ll be back on the road beginning September 10 in San Diego, California for the fall leg of her Cry Pretty tour.
