Just two years after his 2019 album, Born From Southern Ground, Caleb Johnson is back with a new album entitled Mountain Mojo Vol. 1. Recorded in three days at Nashville’s legendary Blackbird studios, the American Idol season 13 winner and his band pushed through a tumultuous 2020 to create the new record.
In his official bio, Caleb boasts that he enlisted the “best of the best” to back him on this new album, which is due out on June 18.
The latest single from the upcoming album, “Glory Bound” is out now. “This track kicks sooo much a**!!!” Caleb writes on Instagram. “Whole lotta soul, attitude, and swagger in this performance !! The band absolutely killed it when we cut this song live on the floor !! If it ain’t live then it ain’t alive !!”
