American Idol Winner Iam Tongi Drops ‘Why Kiki?’ Alongside Vibey Videos

American Idol winner Iam Tongi releases new song “Why Kiki?” along with two vibey videos

Iam Tongi recently released his first single after winning American Idol back in May. “Why Kiki?” penned by Drew Trosclair, Jake Rose, Jamie Paulin, Luke Preston and Paul Sikes is a song that’s full of Island flavor. In the accompanying music video, hula dancers do their thing as Iam and his friends hang. It’s all relaxed vibes and happy times, even if the song’s lyrics are about a girl who is breaking Iam’s heart. The video is like a picture postcard from the Hawaiian isles.

The lyrics go “Why Kiki? Why you wanna do me like that Kiki? Why you gotta hurt me so bad Kiki? Why you got me down on my knees? Why Kiki?”

“Why Kiki?” is out now!! Thanks to everyone who made this song and music video possible!” Iam wrote on Instagram. “Filming this at home with my family and friends made this the best experience.”

The video has already amassed almost 2 million views!
