Rolling Stone Country has the premiere of Trent Harmon’s new “There’s a Girl” video, but you’ll have to watch it on the magazine’s website. I’ll embed the video when it becomes available. (ETA: Video embedded below)

The Roman White-directed clip shows the American Idol winner on a road trip to see a girl– hopping off his tractor, finagling a bike from a young lemonade seller, hitching a ride with some sweet old ladies, and charming a burly bike gang out of their motorcycle–all to get to that special someone.

“‘There’s a Girl’ is my favorite song I’ve written to date,” Trent told Rolling Stone, who penned the tune with Laura Veltz and Jimmy Robbins. “I came in with this almost sad story about how I actually drove hundreds of miles only to find out I’d lost my chance with her. We crafted a positive outcome because it’s truly crazy what a man will do when he’s in love.”

The single is the first from Trent’s debut album for Big Machine Label Group. Label head (and Idol mentor) Scott Borchetta described the sound to Rolling Stone as Justin Timberlake-gone-country. Trent promises the set will have a lot of soul–he plans to incorporate an eclectic mix of influences on the record.

This morning, Trent sat for a Live Facebook Q&A with the magazine. Watch it right here.
