American Idol ratings slip 2/10ths of a point to an all time low–from a 1.2 to a 1.0 in the key 18-49 demo vs last week. The ACM Awards garnered a 1.6 in the demo, an 18% drop vs last year’s 2.1 number. World of Dance stayed steady week to week.
Last year, American Idol’s lowest rated nights were notched when the show aired against the ACM and Billboard awards (both nights garnered a 1.3 in the demo). The latter will air on a Wednesday this year. So, perhaps Idol hit its bottom ratings-wise last night.
