Two-hours of American Idol led Fox to another solid Tuesday victory. But the home of NCIS and The Mentalist, CBS, was still a force to reckon with in total viewers. And NBC finished in the distant No. 2 spot among adults 18-49 as a result of The Biggest Loser.

American Idol averaged 25.10 million viewers and a 9.5 rating/23 share from 8-10 p.m., building by half-hour as follows:

8:30 p.m. ‘ Viewers: 25.64 million, A18-49: 9.6/24
