The 2015 American Idol Live tour opened at the Ruth Eckerd Hall on Tuesday night. The Top 5–Tyanna Jones, Rayvon Owen, Jax, Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani performed a mix of covers and original tunes. There were solo performances (with fellow Idols on backup) and group numbers, with stories and banter in between performances. Top 7 contestant, Joey Cook, opened the show, as she will for five more tour stops.
