Congratulations to Lauren Alaina. The American Idol season 10 runner-up and her boyfriend Alex Hopkins are engaged.
The country singer posted the happy news on Instagram Saturday (July 21), with a photo that showed off her brand new diamond. “Being yours forever has a nice “RING” to it.” Lauren wrote, “#HoppilyEverHopkins @_alex_hopkins WE ARE ENGAGED. EEEK.”
Alex shared the same photo on his Instagram, captioning it, “Ladies and gentleman, may I present to you for the first time, the future Mrs. Lauren Hopkins.”
Lauren and Alex have been dating since 2012, just a year after she competed on American Idol.
