The FOX hit show, Empire, will return to Wednesday nights at 9 pm on the network beginning March 30th. Ahead of the spring premiere, Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, who play brothers Jamal and Hakeem Lyon, respectively, stopped by American Idol on Thursday March 17 to perform a new song.
The Top 6 contestants, MacKenzie Bourg, La’Porsha Renae, Dalton Rapattoni, Trent Harmon, Sonika Vaid and Tristan McIntosh, clad in black leather, joined the duo for a performance of “Never Let it Die.”
