Country singer Gabby Barrett and rocker Cade Foehner found love while competing on the Disney revival of American Idol. Now, the duo are making sweet music together. Check out their cover of Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now.” In the clip, Cade not only strums an acoustic guitar, but is featured playing electric guitar and drums!
In American Idol season 16, which wrapped up on May 21, Cade was eliminated in the Top 5, while Gabby nabbed a 3rd place spot. Finishing in the Top 7 means both will be hitting the road, along with fellow finalists Jurnee, Catie Turner, Michael J Woodard, runner-up Caleb Lee Hutchinson and winner Maddie Poppe on the upcoming American Idol Live! Tour. (Cade and Gabby won’t be the only couple among the Top 7. Maddie and Caleb are dating as well).
American Idol Live! which also stars season 8 winner Kris Allen, kicks off on July 11 in Redding, California and finishes up on September 16 in Washington DC.
