American Idol Alums, Postmodern Jukebox Don’t Stop Believing in One Take (VIDEO)

The latest from retro outfit Postmodern Jukebox features an all-star cast, including singer Sara Niemietz and American Idol alums Rayvon Owen (S14), Thia Megia (S10), Blake Lewis (S6) dropping by for a “swinging Turkey Day extravaganza.”

The video features a jazzy version of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” all done in one dizzying take. Think of the opening sequence of Scorsese’s classic 1990 film Goodfellas and you’ll have an idea of what to expect from this ambitious clip.

On this Thanksgiving, Postmodern Jukebox want to give thanks to the folks who make it all possible. The band could “never have come as far as we have,” they write in a blog post on their website, “without the support of our incredible fans.” The video “is our way of giving back to you,” the band adds, “but also shows what’s possible when none of us stop believin’.”

There’s so much to look at in this cleverly staged video, you’ll want to watch it again and again.  Check it out below.

Postmodern Jukebox is on tour NOW.  American Idol alums Joey Cook and Haley Reinhart will be out on the road with the band in December. Click for tickets.
