Elise Testone announced the release of her debut single, “I Will Not Break” via twitter. The song will be available on September 17.
The American Idol season 11 alum is currently self-producing her debut album, titled, In The Life. The record will feature 12 songs, all co-writes, except for 3 AND a duet with country star and former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman, Darius Rucker.
Not only is the record self produced, but she wrote most of the cello and horn parts as well as the backup harmonies. Elise described the album, in a recent THR interview, as one that combines “all my walks of life put together.”
