American Idol 2025: Full Season 23 Schedule (Updated 4/13)
A few notes on The Top 24 Part 2
American Idol season 23 is full of great singers. I wasn’t so sure at the beginning of the season. But now that the main contenders have performed full songs on stage with the band, I am officially impressed. The best singers from Night 2 include The Voice stand out and now American Idol star, Thunderstorm Artis. He is a Top 10 contender, for sure.
American Idol 2025 Top 24 Part 1 Polls: VOTE for Who is Leaving the Show
Kyana Fanene will be robbed, and probably soon. She is one of the best singers out of the Top 24, but she’s barely had any screen time. I hope she at least makes it to the Top 14. Desmond Roberts is also underrated. The show stuck him in a death spot in the lineup. He deserves more attention. The judges were correct noting that he and the band truly played off one another resulting in a dynamic performance of “Do I Do.”
Canaan James Hill and Mattie Pruitt had off nights, but they both have had so much attention and screen time, the two will sail through to the next round. No worries for Canaan. He’s gonna KILL IT on Sunday’s “Jesus Night.” Mattie will likely also up her game.
It felt like Amanda Barise stepped out of her generic Diva box on Monday. Her jazzy rendition of “Defying Gravity” showed off her musical chops. And can we applaud the band? They are serving up impressive arrangements lately!
One more note:
We will be shutting down the elimination prediction polls WEDNESDAY APRIL 16 at 8 PM ET/PT! The Top 20 round will film that day and results spoilers will likely be available before the show airs. In order not to taint the polls with votes from fans who know the outcome, the voting window will be limited.
We will post results from BOTH polls later this week. Fans who KNOW the results can compare and contrast IN THE (LIKELY INEVITABLE) SPOILER POST! We’ll see how close y’all are able to guess.
