American Idol 2020 Top 21 Poll RESULTS – Who Are Your Favs?

American Idol tossed a twist into the proceedings. A Top 21 is declared. However, while the last two singers both advanced to the next round, America got to vote either Grace Leer or Lauren Mascitti would actually compete.

NOTE: Tonight’s American Idol is a clip show. I won’t be live blogging the episode. HOWEVER I will put up a post later with a recap and new video performances.

Also, if you have not checked it out yet, American Idol has released the schedule for the rest of the season. Ryan Seacrest and Luke Bryan confirmed the remaining shows will be “at home” episodes, with voting and results.

Just Sam, Arthur Gunn and Francisco Martin are crowded at the top in double digits. Dead last is Faith Becnel, who got very little screen time over the course of the season.

American Idol Top 20 – Grace Leer or Lauren Mascitti?

It’s not a wipeout, but Grace Leer has a comfortable lead over Lauren Mascitti. The winner of the matchup will go on to compete in the Top 20. They are both good singers, but I voted for Grace. Lauren is a good songwriter, but Grace’s style is more distinctive.

Just Sam fans likely spanned the poll. But I’m not mad. She’s really a talented and versatile singer who deserves a run for the crown.
