AMERICAN IDOL - "211 (All-Star Duets)" - The remaining 10 contestants of the Top 20 perform duets with all-star celebrity partners from The Wiltern in Los Angeles, as the search for America's next superstar continues on The ABC Television Network, MONDAY, APRIL 8 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), streaming and on demand. Following the performances, the tension will rise as the remaining 10 contestants find out who has made the last seven spots, rounding out the Top 14 during a final elimination that will leave audiences stunned. It’s the second night of American Idol 2019 Top 20 All Star duets. The final ten contestants performed with celebrity duet partners. At the end of the show, the judges, Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan advanced SEVEN singer to the Top 14.  Next week, voting begins as the Top 14 becomes the Top 10.

I may be a traditionalist, but I’ll be happy when Ryan Seacrest is back in his rightful place as host of American Idol. Although, if Ryan quits or ABC fires him as part of a draconian cost cutting measure for next season, there are worse options than Bobby Bones hosting the show.
