On Tuesday, the American Idol Top 10 headed to Disneyland park in Anaheim where they attended the Pixar parade and performed a GROUP NUMBER in front of the Sleeping Beauty castle. Let us now celebrate the return of the group now. I thought we might have to get through an entire season without a pointy pose.
UPDATE: According to an ABC Press release, the Group Number includes Katy Perry
Katy Perry performs a timeless Disney song in front of Disneyland Park’s Sleeping Beauty Castle, accompanied by the Top 10.
According to the official Disney Parks blog, following the group’s “emotional performance” they snapped a photo with Joy and Sadness from the Pixar film, Inside Out.
Check out a few more photos from the contestant’s fun day at Disneyland.

The “Pixar Play Parade,” is part of the limited-time Pixar Fest celebration at the Disneyland Resort. Pixar Fest is “bringing guests together to celebrate friendship and beyond,” from now through September 3. Whee.
Disney Night airs Sunday April 29 on ABC and is the beginning of a 3 week series of shows that air live across all 50 states at 8 pm EDT. Also, for the first time in the history of American television, a reality-competition series will allow viewers to watch and vote from across the country simultaneously. Viewers will be able to vote by text, via AmericanIdol.com/vote or on the American Idol app. Results will be revealed at the end of each show in real time across all time zones.
Broadway star and “Let it Go” singer Idina Menzel will be mentoring the contestants this week. Here she is with musical director Michael Orland.
