On Thursday (Feb 8) the remaining 46 or so American Idol 2018 finalists sang for a spot in the Top 24 in the American Idol Showcase. And I’m hearing that the contestants will learn today whether they made the cut or not!

American Idol 2018 Spoilers: Showcase Round Contestants Revealed
Yesterday, the American Idol official twitter account posted a couple of fun photos from Thursday night’s taping.
Check out the judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan reuniting. Gosh. They haven’t seen each other since…well since Hollywood Week ended two weeks ago (Jan 26).

Also, American Idol posted a birds-eye view of The Exchange as the Showcase taping took place. Check out all of those 18-39 year olds enjoying themselves! (Heh. The note from On Camera Audiences to folks interested in attending the taping indicated only non-middle aged types need apply).
