It’s finale week on American Idol! Tonight, at a special day and time (9/8c pm), The Top 3 will learn who earned a spot in the Final Two. Voting finished this morning amid a flurry of campaigning from Clark Beckham, Nick Fradiani and Jax. For the first time in years, the voting appears to be REALLY close! Bing, a fairly reliable prognosticator, has showed all 3 singers in danger at various times.
Mentor Scott Borchetta cleared up the confusion via twitter. ONLY the Top 2 will sing tonight! Sad for the 3rd place finisher who has been preparing songs all week. Hopefully they will at least get a farewell sing-out. Let’s take a look at the polls!

Prediction: Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani face off against each other for the crown. Jax is eliminated. Clark’s performances have been slipping on top of production busing him. I still think he’s got people and will prevail anyway. Idol loves their southern boys. The momentum Nick has been building will put him over the top and into the Top 2. Although she isn’t always consistent, Jax has had a good run. Scott Borchetta may sign her anyway.
