The American Idol 14 auditions begin tomorrow, but not where you’d expect! The San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, CA, will be holding auditions on Friday, June 13 and Saturday June 14. All fair goers who meet the eligibility requirements can audition, in between riding the ferris wheel and eating cotton candy…or whatever kids are doing these days at big county fairs!
This summer, in addition to our traditional auditions, for the very first time in Idol history, we will be conducting an audition in a new setting, the San Diego County Fair on June 13 and 14 in Del Mar, CA. All eligible fairgoers between the ages of 15 – 28 (See County/State Audition Information) will have a chance to audition during these two days. There will be no prior registration, and auditions will be held from 11am – 8pm on Friday, June 13 and 10am – 8pm on Saturday, June 14. You are welcome to bring an instrument to audition with, but please be prepared to sing a capella as well.
