Blue-haired American Idol 14 hopeful, Joey Cook, a server from Woodbridge, VA, says she has always had a “thing” for obscure instruments, so she started playing the ukulele. But then one night, she had a dream that she played the accordion. “I woke up,” the singer said, “And I was like…that would be really cool to do that!”
She learned the accordion, and of course brought it along to her American Idol audition. We’ll get to see Joey demonstrate her skills on the instrument, Wednesday, January 14, when American airs more “Best of the Bus” auditions from Kansas City, MO.
“I would like people to see that I am better at more things than just waiting tables!”
“I want this more than anything in the world,” says Joey to the camera.
