On the Thursday, February 12 Hollywood Week episode, contestant Loren Lott delivers a powerhouse rendition of “Skyfall” and receives a standing ovation from Jennifer Lopez! Probably goosies too. Ha.
This is the first time I’ve been able to enjoy Loren as a vocalist with depth and character. Her previous performances have too theatrically over the top. Not that there’s anything wrong with theater, but Loren didn’t imbue her performances with honest emotion until now.
