I think it’s finally going to happen. Jacob Lusk will be eliminated from American Idol.
Both his performances were terrible. He performed 2nd–the death spot. The other contestant who has been teetering on the edge lately is Haley Reinhart and she’s not going anywhere this week. So Jacob it is. Smell you later Lusky Stank.
Speaking of Haley? Not only is she not going home, I think she’s the least likely to go home. Her votes will be a combination of outrage/pity after the judges thrashed her 1st number, and votes from viewers who liked her 2nd show-closing, show-stopping number. It’s win win win for Haley this week.
A shock boot is not out of the question. In the rush to save Haley, it’s possible Lauren Alaina could have been left behind. I feel fairly certain that Scotty McCreery and the sobbing James Durbin are safe. But you never know…
