Tonight’s America’s Got Talent 1 hour audition episode featured Seattle, and the entire affair was pretty dismal–one horrible and/or boring audition after the other.
It was a pretty big letdown from the entertaining shows from the 1st couple of weeks. Were the acts that tried out in Seattle so bad that the producers couldn’t find decent and/or amusing talent to feature?
The only remotely bearable acts were a rock cover band called BGP. They were actually a rather generic bar band. The look on Sharon Osbourn’s face said it all. She’s managed rock acts, including her husband Ozzy, all her adult life and she knows suckage when she sees it. But once Nick trotted out the band’s kids to say “hi”, how could she say no?
Here’s BGP singing a dull cover of “Bennie and the Jets”. They definitely need a girl and a piano, stat, if you know what I mean.

And here are some little kid B-Boys called The Art of Teknique. They are cute enough and half-way decent dancers. Yes, this was the best the episode offered up.
