The episode begins with us seeing the teams receive winter gear for today’s tasks. They learn they must go to Les Grands Montets Gondola Station, and they must find a car with a specific license plate and drive themselves there. On the way there, Brodie and Kurt and Tyler and Korey discuss how they’re each other’s toughest competition; both teams have gotten first place multiple times. Once at Les Grands Motet, they learn they must ascend 11,000 feet in a gondola to receive their next clue. Kurt and Brodie and Tyler and Korey are the first teams there with everyone else behind them and on their way there.
Kurt and Brodie and Tyler and Korey retrieve their clue by making their way across wires. They learn they have a Detour to do next: Dynamite or Campsite. Dynamite requires teams to deliver dynamite and lunch to workers who use the dynamite to prevent avalanches. Campsite requires team members to properly pitch up a tent exactly like the one already on display. Brodie and Kurt and Tyler and Korey choose Dynamite.
Dana and Matt retrieve their clue and choose Dynamite. Burnie and Ashley get their clue too, but drop it down the mountain. Ashley has to retrieve another clue. Afterwards, they decide to do the Campsite Detour. Meanwhile, Zach and Rachel and Scott and Blair are on a gondola ascending the mountain. Zach is afraid of heights and Blair tries to calm his fears, but he says she’s not helping.
Dana and Matt get lost on the way to the Dynamite Detour. Dana says she is having a panic attack and cannot breathe. She is also mad that they went the wrong way, but they finally go the right way after they come across Tyler and Korey. Meanwhile, Burnie and Ashley begin the Campsite Detour as Erin and Joslyn and Cole and Sheri are on a gondola. Sheri is silently tearing up as she is clearly afraid of heights too.
Brodie and Kurt complete the Dynamite Detour. After they watch the detonation, they read their clue and learn they must now go to another gondola station to receive their next clue. Tyler and Korey recieve their clue too right afterwards. Meanwhile, Dana is scared scaling the mountain on the way to deliver the dynamite. Zach and Rachel and Scott and Blair get their clue and choose to do the Dynamite Detour. Afterwards, Sheri and Cole and Erin and Joslyn must get their clues too. Sheri is still scared as she has to go across the wires to get the clue, but she manages to succeed in going across the wires. Meanwhile, Dana and Matt deliver their dynamite and get their next clue.
Blair and Erin get confused about the lunch they have to deliver along with the dynamite. It’s a baguette they need to deliver, but Blair goes through someone’s bagged lunch inside a building. Sheri and Cole are currently in last place as they choose to do the Dynamite Detour too. Blair and Erin are still walking around in confusion looking for the lunch they have to deliver before they finally realize it’s just the baguette.
At the gondola station, Brodie and Kurt learn they have a Roadblock to do. One team member must para-glide down the mountain. Brodie chooses to do it. Tyler and Korey arrive right afterwards, and Korey chooses to do the Roadblock. Brodie attempts the para-glide, but stumbles and fails as he sprints down the mountain. This gives Korey the chance to overtake Brodie and Kurt’s current lead. He succeeds on his first attempt. Brodie watches in frustration as he realizes Tyler and Korey will likely get first place now. Nonetheless, he succeeds on his next attempt as he para-glides down the mountain.
Burnie and Ashley are still working on the Campsite Detour as Erin and Joslyn deliver the Dynamite. Meanwhile, Kurt and Tyler watch Korey descending back to the ground. They think it’s Brodie, so they are surprised when they see it’s Korey. Tyler and Korey get their next clue and learn they must go to a statue that is the Pit Stop for this leg of the race. Meanwhile, Burnie and Ashley are in seventh place as they finally finish the Campsite Detour, but it is Sheri and Cole who are in last place after delivering the Dynamite.
Tyler and Korey arrive at the Pit Stop and are Team #1. They win a trip to the Philippines. Brodie and Kurt come running up behind them and are Team #2.
Matt, Blair, and Rachel are now para-gliding for their teams. Matt finishes first, with Blair and Rachel right behind him. They all complete the task and make their way to the Pit Stop with Dana and Matt as Team #3.
Sheri, Erin, and Ashley are the final three people to para-glide. Ashley attempts to para-glide, but stumbles in the snow as the wind wasn’t strong enough yet. She manages to make her way back to the starting point before Sheri or Erin takes off. However, Sheri takes off next and successfully para-glides down the mountain. Erin and Ashley are the last two there and are still struggling as they stumble in the snow again after more failed attempts. Meanwhile, Scott and Blair greet Phil as Team #4 and Zach and Rachel greet Phil as Team #5.
Cole is pleasantly surprised to see that his mom is the next one to arrive on the ground. They can now make their way to the Pit Stop as Burnie and Joslyn look up at the sky at the next person descending to the ground. They each hope it will be their team member, but it is Ashley who arrives next. She and Burnie can now make their way to the Pit Stop. Erin is still struggling taking off.
After Burnie and Ashley greet Phil as Team #6 and Sheri and Cole greet Phil as Team #7, Erin finally manages to para-glide the mountain. She and Joslyn are clearly the last team to arrive at the Pit Stop. They’re hoping they can keep racing, but Phil gives them the bad news. Erin and Joslyn have been eliminated from the race. They are disappointed, but take their elimination well. They say they are blessed and are thankful for the experience.
