America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League: Simon Cowell participates in Shadow Ace’s wacky puppet act

America’s Got Talent Fantasy League semi-finals conclude on Monday with the final 10 contestants competing for a spot in the final.

In this early release from NBC, shadow puppet artist, Shadow Ace aka Philippines native Philip Galit, invites Simon Cowell on stage to be part of his act. The puppeteer performs to “Whoomp! (There It Is)”, “Achy Breaky Heart”, “What Makes You Beautiful”, and more.

Shadow Ace seemingly kisses Simon licks his face, sticks his finger in his nose (pretty gross) and more antics while Simon just sits there and takes it. What a good sport. Big hug at the end.

Howie Mandel says, “We’re looking for all the acts to step it up. You stepped it up. I think that was your funniest, best routine yet.” Howie begs America to vote for Shadow, who is a member of his “dream team.”

“It is so simple what you do,” says Heidi Klum. “But it has such a huge effect. It was so funny!” Heidi thinks Simon could have participated more instead of just sitting there like a willing lump. “I love the fact that you’re criticizing me in the act,” Simon responds.

Mel B. says, “It was really exciting! I didn’t want that to stop,” she adds, “You make it so fun and entertaining. You’re just brilliant!”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if you make it through to the final.”

“I actually think when you’re up there closer, you realize how clever this act is,” Simon observes. “You’re really unique. I wouldn’t be surprised if you make it through to the final.” At that, Shadow wipes a tear from his eye. “This talent really helped me,” he says shouting out to his mom, “I’m confident now!”

Only THREE acts will advance to the finals, and two of those acts will be chosen by the remaining Golden Buzzers, Simon and Heidi. The audience will only vote through ONE act. Will it be Shadow Ace? Tune into America’s Got Talent Fantasy League on NBC Monday Feb 5 at 8 pm ET/PT to find out.
