After Masked Singer, John Schneider Threatened Joe Biden on Twitter/X

The Masked Singer 10 Finale - Donut is John Schneider

What a dumba–. Fresh off of being declared the runner-up on The Masked Singer on Wednesday (12/21) Duke of Hazzard star John Schneider hopped on the internet…and threatened President Joe Biden. A normal person would have thanked his fans, or shared about how his late wife fueled his run on the show. Nope. He literally called for the execution of Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

What’s more. The Secret Service DON’T PLAY. Threaten the president? Expect a knock on your door. The agency tasked with protecting the president, the vice-president, and members of their immediate families, have now opened a probe into the matter.

Replying to a Tweet/X from Biden that referred to the former president and said, “Trump poses many threats to our country: The right to choose, civil rights, voting rights and America’s standing in the world. But the greatest threat he poses is to our democracy. If we lose that, we lose everything.”

Schneider replied, in a now deleted post, with a nonsensical threat, “Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son too. Your response is…? Sincerely, John Schneider.”

Schneider denies threatening the president

Schneider’s responded through a rep, denying that he called for violence or made a threat:

“Seriously, folks?,” Schneider said in a statement to Deadline. “I said no such thing. Despite headlines claiming otherwise, I absolutely did not call for an act of violence or threaten a U.S. president.”

Later, Schneider responded again in a longer statement: “Seriously, folks? This is my final comment on this. I neither said nor implied any such thing. Despite headlines claiming otherwise, in my post, I absolutely did not call for an act of violence or threaten a U.S. president as many other celebrities have done in the past. I suggest you re-read my actual post and pay attention to the words before believing this nonsense.

“It’s my position, which I am entitled to have, that some of our nations leaders in Washington have lost their way, and corruption runs rampant, both on our nation’s borders and abroad. Transparency and accountability must happen in order for our constitutional republic to survive. There is no threat implied or otherwise in that statement.”

Super MAGA Schneider

Uh. Dude. You literally said Biden and his son should be hung. The statement doesn’t work as a metaphor. You are asking for the president to be executed. Any normal person knows a statement that implies violence will draw rebuke, and garner attention from Secret Service. And indeed, Deadline reports that the Secret Service has opened a probe into the matter.

John Schneider regularly posts about conservative politics. He recently produced and starred in a movie, To Die For, about a man who would rather die than be kept from flying his American flag. The premise of the film is that the world is full of woke marxists just waiting to destroy the conservative way of life. As if any conservative would be kept from flying an American flag.

A probe is in the preliminary stage, Secret Service sources say

Officially, the White House and the Secret Service, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security, are saying nothing on any investigation of Schneider. However, sources close to events confirm to Deadline that a probe is in the preliminary stage.

“We look at all threats against our protectees and, due to intent, this falls under the definition of a threat,” a law enforcement insider informed Deadline Thursday.

The law, a federal Class D Felony, “prohibits knowing and willful threats to kill, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm against” the President, the VP, their predecessors, potential successors and their respective “immediate family.” A “credible” threat against the president is subject to up to five years behind bars and a $250,000 fine, reports Deadline.

Nothing will probably come out of this. But consider that when comedian Kathy Griffin posed with a fake bloodied head of Trump, the agency opened a case on her as well. They came to visit her home. And she claims she spent 2 months on the US “no fly” list. Her career was nearly destroyed over the incident.
