Ahead of The Voice season 12 Battle Rounds which begin next week, coach Adam Levine dropped by the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon to chat about his band Maroon 5 and The Voice.
Also, the good-natured dissing of fellow coach Blake Shelton continued, with Adam calling him “stupid” and mocking (pretty well!) the country singer’s Oklahoma accent. Additionally, the Maroon 5 front man brought along a tiny clip from a Battle which features Adam competing with Blake for a steal. Of course, Gwen Stefani is involved. Alicia Keys just peaces out.
Later in the show, Adam returned with his band Maroon 5 to perform their latest single, “Cold.”
BONUS VIDEO! Adam made the rounds–he was also on The Today Show this morning. He chatted with Carson Daly and Matt Lauer about keeping in touch with his team members after the show–specifically Billy Gilman and Jordan Smith
